Ferencvaros to face Crvena Zvezda on Thursday, October 6

Ferencvaros will face Crvena Zvezda in UEFA Europa League Group H away match on Thursday, the 6th of October. The match will take place at Rajko Mitić Stadium stadium in Belgrade. Kick-off is at 18.45 CET. 
 
Crvena Zvezda was established in 1945 and, with 33 national championships, 26 national cups, 2 national supercups, 2 national champions leagues and one league cup between Serbian and Yugoslav competitions, is the most successful club in Serbia. Crvena Zvezda also was the only club from the Balkans and Southeast Europe to win both the European Cup and Intercontinental Cup, having done so in 1991, and only the second team from Eastern Europe to win the European Cup. 
 
Crvena Zvezda won the Serbian SuperLiga in the 2021/22 season, qualifying to the UEFA Champions League Third qualifying round where they beat Pyunik 7-0 on aggregate, before being beaten by Maccabi Haifa 4-5 on aggregate in the play-offs. 
Crvena Zvezda lost the first two matches in Europa League Group H to Monaco and Trabzonsor. In the Serbian SuperLiga, Crvena Zvezda is currently topping the table with 29 points after the first 11 matches and a striking goal difference of +29. On Sunday, the 2nd of October, Crvena Zvezda won their away match against Mladost GAT 4-0.
