Ferencvaros beat ETO FC Győr 4-1 in Hungarian Cup semi-final

Ferencvaros have beaten ETO FC Győr in Hungarian Cup semi-final on Wednesday, April 20. The Cup final against Paks will take place at Puskas Arena on May 11.

"I'm very happy with this victory. We were aware that the opponent had previously knocked out Puskás and Fehérvár at previous cup stages, so we were sure we would need to work hard to get through.
While qualifying the cup final may seem easy from the outside, it was not quite so. We had to prepare the players properly and show a fine performance to get to the finals. Yes, my staff and myself have already won a cup in Poland before. I think that cup ties are always a special occasion and I am very happy that we will there at Puskas Arena with our fans. Our last match against Paks has been a long time ago and I left it behind it already. For now we have to focus on the derby match this coming Sunday. We will talk about each subsequent match and the cup final after the derby is over.
