Ferencvaros beat Fehervar 2-0

Ferencvaros have beaten Fehervar 2-0 in away match of the Hungarian OTP Bank Liga Gameweek 24 on Sunday, the 13th of March.

Both goals were scored by Ryan Mmae (68th and 92nd minutes).

«I think that we had a very important victory today. We knew that Fehervar was in a rather difficult situation after the last few matches and that did not make our job easier. I am glad that we were able to exercise better control in the first half but control somewhat slipped out of our hands in the second hand. We had certain difficulties in the beginning as ten players tested positive for the coronavirus infection and three more appeared for their national teams at the Africa Cup. It was not the easiest task getting in and getting used to it in the middle of the season but I think that we are constantly improving and finding our stability. We still have a lot of work to do but basically I am very satisfied we have done so far", said Cherchesov at the press conference after the match.
